Mobile pizza catering packages and setups

Every event has its own rhythm, and the catering should match it. Below is how each format works, who it suits, and what changes when your guest count grows.

The setup we quote from

Pick the format, then we refine the details together.

Round Table Pizza Catering runs a mobile pizzeria out of a Brooklyn kitchen at 452 Industrial Way. We bring the oven, the dough, the toppings and the staff to your venue, and we work the same way whether it is a wedding reception in Manhattan, a company lunch in a Dumbo office, or a backyard birthday in Greenpoint. The pages below describe what each setup actually looks like on the day, so you can match one to your guest count and your schedule instead of guessing.

Catering formats

Every setup, one tab stop in

Four event formats cover almost everything we cater. Each row below shows the same three things: who it suits, how service runs, and where the plan changes as the guest count climbs.

Most requested

The classic pizza station

Our standard setup is a manned station with a portable oven, a prep table, and a short menu of pies baked to order. Guests approach, order, and get a fresh slice or a personal pie within minutes. It suits receptions, office parties, and casual celebrations where people move around. This is the format most clients choose, and it scales well from 40 guests upward.

Best for grazing crowds that move around

Weddings and receptions

Wedding service is about timing as much as food. We usually run the station during cocktail hour or as a late-night bite, depending on your schedule. In Brooklyn and Manhattan venues we often work alongside a plated dinner, providing a lighter course or a post-dance snack. We coordinate with your planner so the pizza lands at the right moment, not in the middle of a toast.

Corporate catering

For offices and company events, speed matters. We build a station that can serve a team within a set lunch window, often 45 to 60 minutes, so people eat and return to their day. This works for product launches, team celebrations, and client events in Manhattan and Brooklyn. We can invoice the company directly and arrive with everything needed for a clean setup and breakdown.

Birthdays and private parties

Backyard birthdays, milestone dinners, and casual get-togethers are a natural fit for a mobile pizzeria. The station gives guests something to do and eat at the same time, which keeps a party lively. We can run a relaxed two-hour service or a shorter burst, depending on how you want the evening to flow. Smaller counts are welcome.

Corporate lunch · 45 to 60 minutes

Private party · relaxed or short burst

Large counts · second oven added

When the count climbs

Larger guest counts

Once you pass roughly 120 guests, the plan changes. We add a second oven or a second station and more staff so no one waits long. We also map out the service window more carefully, since feeding a large group takes planning. Tell us your realistic count and we will recommend the right configuration rather than guessing.

If your number is still moving, send us the range you expect and the venue. We would rather quote two configurations and adjust closer to the date than sell you more oven than the room can hold.

What we ask before we quote

Guest count a realistic number, not the invite list

Event type wedding, office, birthday, private party

Venue and access indoor, courtyard, loft, loading access

Power and space a standard outlet and a table's worth of room

Service window when you want pizza in front of guests

Send these five details and we can come back with a configuration and a clear price.

Add-ons and extras

Only what your evening needs

Beyond the core station, we can add a salad or a simple dessert, a dedicated server for a seated course, or a longer service window. If your venue needs extra setup time, we account for that too. Add-ons are quoted clearly so there are no surprises. Not every event needs them, and we will say so.

Check availability

Salad or dessert adds a second table and a second server if the count is high

Dedicated server for a seated course that lands at a set time

Longer service window when guests will keep grazing past the first hour

Extra setup time for venues with a tight load-in window or stairs

Late-night bite a second short service after the main course

What is included

We bring the kitchen, you bring the room

Standard bookings include the oven, dough and toppings, a prep table, serving staff, and cleanup. You provide the space, power, and access. We bring our own tools and most disposables, though we can coordinate with your venue on plates and napkins if they prefer to supply them. The goal is a setup where you do not have to manage logistics on the day.

How to choose

Start with the room, not the menu

Start with the event type and guest count, then think about timing. A wedding with a seated dinner needs a different service than a backyard party where people graze. If you are unsure, tell us the basics and we will suggest a format. There is no pressure to over-order, and we would rather match the setup to your actual evening.

A useful shortcut: if guests will be standing and talking, the station carries the whole evening. If they are seated for a course, pizza works best as the opening bite or the late one.

Before you book

Questions we get

The answers below cover what most clients ask before choosing a setup. If yours is not here, call us at +1-718-555-0194 during business hours and we will walk through it.

How far in advance should I book a date?

Weekends in spring and fall fill first, so four to six weeks gives us room to plan properly. Shorter notice works for smaller private parties and office lunches if the date is open — ask and we will tell you honestly whether we can do it well.

What space and power does the station need?

Roughly a table's worth of ground and one standard outlet within reach. Outdoors we plan for wind and shade, and in a loft or gallery we check the load-in path and whether there is a service lift. Tell us the venue and we will say what we need before the day.

Can you work alongside a plated dinner?

Yes, and it is common at Brooklyn and Manhattan weddings. We usually take cocktail hour or the late-night slot so the pizza does not compete with the main course. Your planner tells us when the room turns over and we time the first bake to land after the toast, not during it.

Do you handle vegetarian and dietary requests?

Every station carries at least one vegetarian pie, and we keep a separate board and cutter for it. Tell us about allergies in advance and we will map out what we can and cannot promise in a shared kitchen. We would rather set the expectation before the event than improvise at it.

How is the price worked out?

The quote follows the guest count, the service window, and any add-ons you choose. We send the configuration and the price together so you can see what each line is for, and you can drop an add-on without the rest of the quote changing.

Next step

Tell us the date and the count

Send the event type, the realistic guest count, and the venue. We will come back with the format that fits and a clear price. If you would rather taste first, a tasting session can be arranged at our Brooklyn kitchen on Industrial Way.
